My dog does the same thing! He will actually come up to me though and put his paws on my knees almost like he’s worried about me haha. lol! So much for alone time! Beautiful dog though!

My cat demands to sit on my lap in the bathroom and actually waits for me near the potty!

I have three cats and they won’t allow me to close the bathroom door all the way. …. they all have to be in the bathroom with me even when I take a shower! They just sit and wait for me to complete whatever I am doing and then they follow me where ever I go.

I have a cat and a dog that will allow me NO privacy in the bathroom, whether it’s the loo, or a soak in the bath!

My Aubrey doesn’t just watch me, she drops a squeaky ball in my lap and wags her tail till I throw or roll it to her. Is this what Charmin is talking about “enjoy the go”?

My dog Bear used to do this. However, during Hurricane Ike we “hunkered down” all night in the bathroom to wait out the storm, because it was the safest room in the house. Ever since then, Bear won’t go NEAR the bathroom. So… all you need is a hurricane – problem solved! 🙂

I have 3 dogs, and they all do this. If I actually secure the door, they will whine and put paws and tails underneath the door to let me know they are still there. If I leave it open, they take turns sitting between my legs so they can get rubbed on. I have been experiencing a lot of morning sickness and they stand guard at the bathroom door and occasionally pop in and lick my arm. Showers are just as bad! They pop their heads in, lay on the bathroom rug, and occasionally join me unannounced. Talk about no privacy!

They are just getting you ready for motherhood! I don’t think I got to use the bathroom alone until the last few years…..and even then its a miracle! lol

Our dogs do this as well. We call them our certified “Peeing Eye” dogs. They are offering you assistance if you need it.

I can so identify with you all. Beagles have no sense of personal boundaries. I find if I throw an empty toilet roll, they’ll scramble after it and give me three minutes of peace!

I haven’t closed my bathroom door in years! Seems that almost every dog I’ve had likes to keep me company in there. The 2 I have now come in every time and just lay down hanging out. I’m so used to it, it’s normal for me lol!

My hound lies on the floor in the bathroom and waits patiently. As soon as I get up to flush, he is up and running and ready to go for a walk, etc.

I had a dog that always waited for me outside the bathroom door. After she passed away, my other dog took over the job. I find it very endearing that he does this, and I appreciate his effort to keep me safe since my last dog passed 🙂
