These beautiful Labrador /Chesapeake Bay retriever girls are about 3 months old and perfect in every way. They’re available from Atlanta Lab Rescue in Atlanta, GA. They both love people and get along wonderfully with other dogs and cats. They are incredibly smart, housebroken, and will soon start to learn basic commands. Betty Boop is a bit more adventurous than her sister and will jump right into whatever seems like fun; Curly Sue tends to think before she leaps.
Betty Boop will probably grow to be about 45lbs; Curly Sue is smaller so will be less than 40lbs when fully grown. The only thing they like more than playing is snuggling-up on the sofa with their foster mom. They are both full of puppy-joy and are guaranteed to bring lots of smiles to whoever is lucky enough adopt them. More information could be found here.
These adorable pups had a very rough start in life, but their luck turned around on Mother’s Day weekend when they were rescued from a Memphis, TN dumpster and are now with the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County. When found, they were emaciated (the smallest, Poe only weighing 2.8 pounds), had ticks, fleas, roundworms, Giardia, and Coccidia.
Look at them only 5 weeks later – happy, healthy pups ready to be adopted! These sweet babies are also smart; they learned how to sit in only 2 days and are well on their way to being housetrained. Like the sign says, “Will sit for kibble” and just about anything else.
Ethel is a two year old miniature schnoxie or possibly a wirehaired dachshund mix. She is available through A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue & Fixin’) in Cookeville, TN. She is very loving, and after she learns to trust you will never leave your side! (Seriously, never, not even when you are in the shower or using the restroom.) She loves snuggles and belly rubs, and is more than willing to help keep the dust out from under your bed in exchange for being allowed to sleep on it! Ethel would love to have a little partner-in-crime/playmate her own size, but would be fine as an only dog as well. Her current foster home has three other dogs, but no kids or cats. We do know that she is fine with older kids, and she has been friendly with smaller kids during adoption events, but she has not been around any cats that we know of! Ethel shares a dog bed with her foster sister at night, and when the alarm goes off she jumps up, tail wagging to ensure that her foster parents do not oversleep. She would also like to add that she is a baby-gate hurdle champion, and is willing to pull her weight by making a careful inventory of your shoes. Ethel is mostly housetrained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. She can be fearful of strangers due to lack of socialization, but has made great progress in this area. She needs a home that will continue to keep her socialized.
For more information on Ethel, please check out her profile here. Ethel is currently fostered in Cookeville, TN but transport is available to the Northeast and Chicago areas!
I nap gratuitously in my foster mom’s office as she reads up on training deaf dogs, like me! –Darby
Darby is a happy-go-lucky 1 year old boxer mix from Spencer, IN. He’s being fostered through the Owen County Humane Society. “I got tired of being a pibble, so I decided to become a pretzel.”
Lilly, or as she is more commonly known, “Silly Lilly”, is a joy to have in our home. She lives in Frederiksburg, VA and is being adopted through Bully Paws. She is a playful, fun loving young girl who can instantly make you smile! Like most young pups, Lilly likes toys but she LOVES tennis balls. As long as you will throw one she will chase it, she even brings it back when called! Lilly has been working hard and has already learned “sit” “down” “paw” and “drop it”. Lilly loves to play with her foster brothers and sisters but won’t hesitate to snuggle on the couch when the day is over. Lilly is a very social girl who does great with other dogs, does well with cats, and she absolutely LOVES kids. All she needs now is her forever home!! For more information on her, click here.
Hundley is located in the Cedar Rapids, IA. Hundley was recently picked up by Last Hope Animal Rescue at an auction of a closing puppy mill. Potty training has been a challenge, since he is 9 years old and just learning. He is currently in a foster home and is his foster mom’s shadow! He came to us with very bad teeth and has since had all but two removed. It doesn’t stop him though! He is a very happy, social little guy! If you are interested in adopting Hundley click here.
Winnie was featured on Adoptable Fridays a couple months ago and has found a forever home! His foster mom just couldn’t let him go! Now he spends his days playing with his doggy sister and getting a ton of attention. There are still a ton of great dogs who need forever homes through Hope Rescues located in the Alton, IL area! Thank you for showing all the great dogs who need homes!

Hi, I am Tyson. I like parties. Specifically dog birthday parties. Specifically the food and gifts at other dogs birthday parties! Thats me in the green hat, stealing my foster sister’s treats on her birthday.
I am a 3-4 year old malamute x collie boy. I am very very clever, and quite naughty. Although I can be quite good if briibed with the right food. I quite love it at my foster parents house, and love my foster sister, so I tend to sabotage meets. I am scared of little dogs, and take some time to get to know new big dogs but once we’re ok we’re friends for life. I prefer girl dogs to boys (I am a ladies man). I hate cats, and like barking at and chasing birds. I have lost my testicles, and am microchipped and vaccinated and fat and fit and furry. I love children, but especially larger ones who i can play with without knocking them over.I love people and cuddles.Mummy says I am the best foot warmer ever. I live in Adeliade, South Australia, and would love somewhere to live forever where I will be spoilt rotten and maybe have a few kids or dog friends. You can see more about me here.
I chewed my foster mom’s sandal straps, now they won’t buckle!
Ham-Solo, who we call Hammie, is one of the sweetest pups we have fostered from Home For Good Dog in Berkley Heights, NJ . His fur is mostly black with brown highlights on his head and ears and little white spots on his chin and chest. He is very submissive and rolls to his back whenever my full grown lab noses him. He is adorably inquisitive about how things like garden hoses, training wheels and refrigerators work. He is happy to sit sweetly and let my 4 year old and all her soccer buddies pet him. When walking around the neighborhood people can’t believe how young he is because he is so calm and easygoing.
