Poor dear! My mini-doxie, Lil’ Squirt has a slipped disc with some loss of function. Unfortunately that includes the chance of pooping while asleep. Anywhere, including our bed. Luckily, we really like fresh linen!

My dog has done that a few times when he had really bad dreams

My dog did this as she got older. I was told to add more fiber to her diet. I added one teaspoon of generic flavorless fiber powder to her food each day and it helped a lot.
