Hundley is located in the Cedar Rapids, IA. Hundley was recently picked up by Last Hope Animal Rescue at an auction of a closing puppy mill. Potty training has been a challenge, since he is 9 years old and just learning. He is currently in a foster home and is his foster mom’s shadow! He came to us with very bad teeth and has since had all but two removed. It doesn’t stop him though! He is a very happy, social little guy! If you are interested in adopting Hundley click here.
Awww…his story breaks my heart. I pray he finds his forever home.
Best of luck to Hundley; not one of his problems is his fault 🙁
As the parent of a fur baby rescued from a puppy mill I understand the hurdles Hundley faces. I hope he finds someone to give him all the love he never got in the puppy mill.
I had a dashound/corgi/??? mix who would do the same thing when she was being potty trained. She was so long that all of her feet were on the pad but she didn’t realize her butt was hanging off.
I adopted a 9 year-old doxie who also lost all but two teeth — he was the best dog ever! He was an adorable wiener dog, but believed he was a fully-fanged doberman. I also adopted a 9 year-old puppy mill dog, and she learned to let us know when she needed to go out. So I do hope someone gives this dog a chance at a new home. I would take him but I live in Hawaii and bringing dogs over is very difficult.
