Olive got hungry and decided to make the utility bill her afternoon snack.
While left under the care of the babysitter, Amos helped himself to THIRTEEN banana muffins, wrappers and all. Muffin Man indeed.
While we all chose to go out for dinner, Mr. Darcy chose to dine in on toilet paper. Thank you to whoever left the bathroom door open!
I have never apologized so profusely in my life. MacGregor was not sorry.

Meet Rita! All Breed Rescue of Vermont saved Rita from a high-kill shelter in South Carolina last Spring. Poor Rita was very nervous so we gave her a lot of space and time to acclimate. However, Rita unfortunately slipped her collar while on a walk with a volunteer last April and ran away! 4 months later we received a call that Rita was found (she was brought into the local Humane Society and they scanned her for a microchip – which was registered to our rescue). Where was she living? Under the dumpster behind the Olive Garden – 6 miles away! When we brought her back she was as round as a meatball – and was thoroughly unimpressed with the kibble we were feeding. Rita now wears a harness and a martingale at all times, just for safety sake. She is ready to find a forever home … and maybe a family that will treat her to Chicken Parmesan occasionally 🙂
I’m going as a spider for Halloween!
