Adoptable Fridays – Maci

Maci, a 7 years old French Bulldog,  is such a happy little girl. She’s in Washington State and being fostered by French Bulldog Last Chance Rescue and ready for a furever home. She wants to be an only child because sharing isn’t one of her strong points. She’s a very active girl that needs an active family. Maci is house broken and has basic obedience training. Adoptable Fridays – Starr

Starr is a beautiful pitbull mix from Huntington, NY. She’s being adopted out through Little Shelter. Starr was found as a brand new mommy. Two of her pups died but the other 2 pulled through. Starr was a fantastic mom and her babies were very well taken care of and adopted out on their own. Now Starr is ready for the kind of life she should have had all along. Two-year-old Starr is looking for a home where she will be the only pet in the house. Starr has spent some time in our offices and has proven to be well-behaved inside. She will stay by your side, enjoy partaking in some play, and then relax with a peanut butter kong. She is a bundle of fun! Here is her profile.

Adoptable Fridays – Howard

Howard LOVES people, including kids, but doesn’t care for his furry friends at all! Howard has been waiting for two years at the Delaware SPCA in Georgetown, DE for his forever home where he will be the one and only pet. Howard is a staff and volunteer favorite, but we would love for him to have a home of his own! If you’re interested in Howard, here is his profile.

Adoptable Fridays – Lucy

“I will do anything to get invited to your tea party….I have no shame.” Lucy is 1 year old Pit Mix, available for adoption from Austin Pets Alive in Austin, TX. Lucy will put up with any indignity, as long as there is affection and attention to be had for it. Here she is in a unicorn outfit, hoping to be mistaken for a stuffed animal. Lucy is an excellent unicorn. As one volunteer noted, “She comes with Fairies and Princesses.”

Lucy came to Austin Pets Alive! with a severe case of mange, but she has been successfully treated and her hair is growing back. We anticipate she’ll be a real beauty. Lucy is a happy, confident girl who loves people and other dogs and she LOVES to give and receive hugs! Find out more about Lucy here.

Adoptable Fridays – Brooklyn

Hi Everyone! My name is Brooklyn and I am from DeKalb County, GA. I am usually seen chewing the legs off my plastic kooky chicken so he can’t get away. I also have my own Facebook page for you to check out!

Brooklyn is a beautiful dog available at DeKalb County Animal Services. She is enrolled in CHARM school, where volunteers work with her every Sunday. She has quickly learned commands and tricks and is very toy motivated. Brooklyn is spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. Can you give Brooklyn the forever home she deserves?

Adoptable Fridays – Henry

Henry is a 1.5 year old male boxer mix being adopted through Kat’s Canines in Fayetteville, NC. He is neutered, UTD on shots, healthy, good with other dogs and with kids. He is house trained, crate trained, doesn’t chew, doesn’t dig, likes to play fetch but not for too long at a time, loves to snuggle and give kisses and is basically the BEST DOG I have ever fostered. He’s wonderful. He is very much deserving of his forever home! Local adopters only please, must allow a home visit.

Adoptable Fridays – Arthur

My name is Arthur. I love apples. I pee on my apples before eating them so that they have my scent. Everyone thinks I’m weird but who cares because I’m Loving It!

Arthur is a 3 years old boy from Lassie, a shelter in Langkawi, Malaysia. He has a lop-sided ear and is the coolest male dog there. There are many beautiful dogs there waiting to be adopted to a good home. Here is their facebook page.

Party guy!

Our dog ran off when out walking with me and was gone for almost 24 hours. It was only 8 degrees that night and he is a house dog. A huge search ensued and he was found about 3 miles away. My kids decided on public humiliation as his punishment.
