Adoptable Fridays – Harrison

While you were out, I escaped and defeated the evil crate and redecorated the living room. I just wanted an unobstructed view out the window, so I could see when you came home. P.S. I purposefully had tapeworms so you would have to smell my stinky farts for 2-3 weeks as I slept and sat near you.

Meet Harrison! He is a Labrador mix a little over a year old and is available for adoption through Puppy Hill Farm Animal Rescue based in Melrose/Gainesville, FL. This incident happened about a week after he was saved from being put to sleep due to overcrowding at the local animal shelter in September 2012. He used to be very afraid of crates, but after some training he no longer escapes, is not as anxious, and doesn’t knock down the curtains to see out the window. Now that the tapeworms are all gone, his foster mom doesn’t have to smell his silent but very deadly flatulence anymore. Harrison currently lives (and plays) with a standard poodle and a cat, but also loves going to the dog park, giving kisses, and meeting new people.

Harrison goes to the Gainesville Petsmart on weekends for adoption through Puppy Hill Farm Animal Rescue.

Ringo is about 5 or 6 months old and is located at the Twin Falls Animal Shelter, located in Twin Falls, ID. The shelter thinks he’s a border collie/shepherd mix. He is very loyal and is great with dogs, cats, and children. Adopt Ringo today!

Adoptable Fridays – Mayer

“My foster parents need their couches back!” Mayer loves his cushions, especially if we are sitting there with him. He thinks he’s a lap dog. Mayer is from Escondido, CA and is a 3 year old pit bull mix. He’s very friendly, seems totally at ease with other dogs, and knows some really cool commands, such as “lie down” and “shake”! Adoptable Fridays – Sunshine

Looking for a laid-back mature dog? Then Sunshine is just the dog for you! Sunshine is about 5 years old and lives in Blacksburg, VA. She is a low energy dog. She is great with dogs, cats, and kids. She is completely house-trained and although she is crate-trained, I never use it because she never gets into any trouble when left alone. Adoptable Fridays – Coco

This is Coco Chanel, aka Coco. She is an 8 year old Chihuahua available for adoption through All Breed Rescue & Training in Colorado Springs, CO. Coco was displaced from the local Humane Society during the catastrophic Waldo Canyon fire, as rescues and shelters were taking in evacuee pets. Coco ended up at ABRT and was matched with me for fostering. She came to me with food aggression issues, crate crying, and no potty training skills, but she has learned so quickly and lives to please. She loves to cuddle and, as you can see, still loves to steal food. She doesn’t care if it’s my food or her Great Dane sister’s food. She loves everyone – dogs, cats, kids, men, women, even vets. Pinky is a beagle/dachshund mix from Imperial Beach, CA. She is 5 years old and is the sweetest thing. Despite her sad eyes, she is a happy dog that would be content just being by your side. She is house broken, spayed, and up to date with her shots. She gets along well with other dogs, but would do best in a house with no small children. She’s available for adoption through Open Arms Rescue in Imperial Beach, CA.

While Foster Momma was away at work, Albert managed to pull her pillow into his crate where he ripped it apart and created a little nest for himself. No shame at all. Albert is about 3 years old and lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The wonderful people at the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew have been fostering Albert for a few months. He is a gentle giant, he’s housetrained and it great with kids! Adopt Albert today!!

I don’t remember what happened to my right ear; I think I was just born this way, but that doesn’t stop me from loving life! In fact, I think it adds character & makes me even that much more adorable. Everybody who meets me falls in love with me instantly. I’m a very happy and extremely affectionate little girl. I enjoy other doggy friends & I like cats too. I have a super sweet personality and love to run & play with toys. I’m just precious and 100% pure love through & through. Adoptable Fridays – Rocky

My name is ROCKY a pug who is in foster care with SouthEast Pug Rescue in Georgia. I am a cancer survivor and now up for adoption. My mom gave me and the other pugs a nice snack of sweet potatos, carrots and bread after dinner. I ate it in one bite. When my mom was watching the other pugs I jumped right on the table and started licking all the plates clean, right in front of all the guests.

Adoptable Fridays – Landon

Landon is a 2 year old spaniel (and corgi?) mix who looks like a golden retriever puppy. He is a happy, affectionate, playful, and well-behaved little love bug looking for his forever home. He was rescued by the Milo Foundation in the San Francisco Bay Area and is currently fostered in Marin County, CA where he spends his days kissing and gazing lovingly at his foster dad (even when his foster mom is rubbing his belly).
