Julian not only hung himself from a fence by the foot for Christmas, costing the rescue that is sponsoring him over $2000 for the new plate in his ankle, he then ate part of the clinic that was donating services to said rescue.
Julian is a terrier/pit mix being fostered through the Animal Compassion Network from Asheville, NC. He is a handsome man who loves spending these long winter evenings curled up in his favorite armchair, or playing with his new best friend. While Julian has the energy and spunk to be a hiking or jogging buddy, he also enjoys being a couch potato. He has a very sweet temperament and is waiting for a forever home where is affection will be returned. Here’s his profile.
My name is Pluto and I am a 2 year old blue nose pit bull From Boston, MA. I was a Christmas miracle, pulled from the euthanasia line on Christmas Eve just in the nick of time by Last Hope K9 Rescue.
I will admit that my life has not been the greatest so far and humans have not always been kind to me. Because of that I tend to be a little shy at first and would love a home that would help me build my confidence. I was really underweight, but my amazing foster family has gotten me healthy and I am no longer timid like I used to be. I love belly rubs! In fact, they may be my favorite thing (besides have a roof over my head and a warm place to sleep). I am a pretty low-key and would love a home where I could be the center of someone’s world. My only shame is the life I was given prior to the shelter. I am one of the lucky ones who got out. If you can’t adopt me, please pick a shelter or rescue dog. There are just too many of us who need you.
Radley stole and ate all the beef jerky out of his mom’s purse while she was dropping off his sister at daycare. He is not ashamed about eating the jerky and only about the Christmas sweater he was forced to wear.
I received this email from Captain Jack‘s foster mom just a few days before we got married. It was the best wedding gift we could have ever asked for. Thank you, Amber and godspeed Cap’n Jack!
Hi!! I just wanted to thank you! I submitted Captain Jack a few weeks ago for the adoptable Fridays — guess what!? He got adopted!!!! I am located in PA and Jack’s new home is all the way in TN!! It is all because of your website. Captain Jack is deaf and his new mommy actually teaches deaf children and dogs. She already has a deaf dog and will teach Captain Jack all of her hand signals. I am thrilled. This was the best Christmas present that Jack and I got!
“I try to steal ornaments off the Christmas Tree when I think no one is looking. Love, Silas” My one year old miniature long-haired Dachshund has been attempting to steal ornaments every chance he gets. He hangs out by the Christmas Tree and waits for a chance to grab one off the tree. He’s so cute that it’s almost impossible to scold him!
“I stole Dad’s brisket” and “I ate $120” – this is the picture on our Christmas Card this year. The caption says, “There’s still time to talk your way off Santa’s naughty list.” P.S. You’ll also note that the brisket sign has teeth marks near the “S” in “Stole”…that’s because Socrates (white dog) ran off with the sign and this is why the signs are on the tree and not around their necks….always uo to something!!
