Adoptable Fridays – Buddy
If you’re looking for a great after Christmas gift Buddy will not disappoint. He’s an Australian Cattle Dog mix being fostered through Critter Cavalry Rescue in the Nashville, TN area that is just the sweetest thing ever. He gets along great with other dogs and loves to cuddle with everyone he meets or play fetch. The rescue org thinks he’s around 1 yr old and he weighs approx. 25 lbs. He’s also neutered, up to date on all shots & microchipped. He’d be a great addition to a family with young kids or a single person looking for a new friend. He loves to run around so he’s best suited for someone with an active lifestyle or at least a fenced in back yard. See his full profile here.
Ho Ho… No
I tore up my brand new Christmas scarf and left evidence all over the floor…
Max and Gingee
“Run, run, as fast as you can Mr. Gingerbread man…I’ll still catch you…and destroy you.”
Max is always proud of his “kills” and the speed with which he can remove a squeaker from any toy. He likes to leave the fluff and “carcasses” scattered throughout the house. He decided to really get in the Christmas spirit by destroying his gingerbread man.
Adoptable Fridays – Clarissa
” My foster dad left me to go for a run . . . so I ate his Christmas presents. BUT I am a puppy and you left them out . . . I’m so sorry 🙁 ”
Clarissa is an amazingly sweet pup up for adoption through Liberty Humane Society in Jersey City, NJ. She was having a rough time at the shelter so we brought her into our home as a foster, and she has really blossomed! She’s super smart and is learning more and more each day. She is already fully potty trained and knows basic commands (“sit”, “paw”, “down”, “wait”). And what a little cuddle monster – guaranteed to crawl right in your lap anywhere, anytime 🙂

You call it an ornament, I call it lunch.
“I ate one of mom’s brand new ornaments less than an hour after she put it on the tree.”
Otis, my 5 yr old sons 16 week old English Bulldog puppy, watched me decorate the Christmas tree with my beautiful brand new ornaments. I was amazed that he didnt try to “help” me, just watched. Not long after, he came to me with a red glitter covered nose and mouth… and the remains of what was a sparkly red ball, all smiles and wagging behind (buldogs wag their whole rear ends 😉 He was so proud of himself…
Lulu loves Baby Jesus – because he’s delicious..
“I ate the baby Jesus off of our Christmas Nativity scene.. Not looking forward to the Second coming, literally or figuratively… ” Merry Christmas from Lucy Mae
Trimming the Tree
My parents had just finished putting up the lights on our Christmas tree, mommy went to get the decorations that were in another room and then, I did it – I just couldn’t help himself… It smelled so good! I decided to take out those low branches that are such a hassle to decorate anyways and got myself a full serving of fraser fir needles!!! — Harvey the French Bulldog
Gift Shredder
“I’m on Santa Paws’ naughty list. I opened my cousin’s Christmas present. I am ashamed.”
After being gone, we came home to find two presents opened and shredded. She hid both presents after opening them. One in the crack of the couch and the other hidden on the bottom shelf of a book shelf. She is very ashamed.
PRESENTS!
Mommy came home to this and she was not very happy with me… My first Christmas and I’m on the naughty list.
