Adoptable Fridays – Sally

My name is Sally from Roanoke, VA. The first thing I did when my foster mom got me home was pull the pillows off the couch so I could have a comfy nap.

I am an older girl who loves to hang around the house and snuggle up.
If you have a comfy place were I could nap in your home, I’m adoptable through Angels of Assisi.

Adoptable Fridays – Drover

Meet Drover, he is our current foster dog. He is a VERY tall 30kg – 35kg Siberian Husky. He lives near Curran City in New South Wales, Australia! He’s available through Arctic Breed Rescue.

He was badly abused by his previous owners, it took him 2 hours to even come up and sniff us when we first met. He has gotten much better and is quite the snuggle bum, however he is still very weary of strangers, but once you have his trust he will take advantage of it. This photo was taken at our ANZAC Day BBQ, he made a new friend, Poor Aaron had numb legs in the first 20mins, but let him sleep on his lap for nearly 2 hours.

Drover is up for adoption as well as many other arctic breeds. For more information about Drover, click here.

Adoptable Fridays – Fozzy

We came home to a fish tank with no lid, spilled water everywhere and no fish. The beta had lived over two years.

Fozzy is a labrador-retriever mix from Raytown, MO. He’s being fostered through Reno Ranch Rescue. He’s just as sweet as he can be and ready for his forever family now. His $150 adoption fee includes his puppy shots, wormers, preventatives, rabies vax, neuter and microchip along with all his going home necessities  – harness, blanket, treats and toys. If you’d like more information about Fozzy, please click here.

Adoptable Fridays – Mushka was adopted!!

If you recall, two Friday ago, we featured a sweet girl named Mushka. I received an email from Mushka’s foster mom earlier this week that read:

I’m over the moon to report that Mushka has just been collected by her new human, Claire…and it’s all thanks to Dog Shaming!

I can’t tell you how happy and grateful I am that she found her forever home thanks to your fabulous website, to say thank you doesn’t seem like enough.

But…thank you! 🙂

I’ve attached a snap of Claire and Mushka for you to see, and possibly share with the fans of Dog Shaming and Adoptable Fridays…hopefully it’ll inspire more people to give a dog a second chance.

Kind regards,

Lindsay x

Pumpkin has no pity for the nearsighted

I ate my boy’s glasses. He only needs them to see things far away and I am right here.

You’re welcome, Mom.

You didn’t let me in fast enough, so I ate your welcome mat. You’re welcome, Mom. I’m not sorry.

P.S. I also finished eating the note after you took this picture.

Toothy Jerk

I was mad I wasn’t allowed to join my dad downstairs. I’m a toothy jerk.

I went downstairs in our house to take a timed online final, leaving my dog upstairs, blocked by a closed door so she wouldn’t disturb me. She spent the next three hours barking and howling, and, it turns out, trying to chew through the door to come and see me. And she wasn’t the least bit sorry. Toothy jerk.

Bulldog Bomb

My dog Harley likes to sit right next to the treadmill while I am exercising on it and fart. His farts are terrible and nearly make me hurl! Not a good combination while trying to exercise and breathe deeply!

“Udder” Failure

Jasmine chewed the udder support (goat bra) on our goat, Honey, less than 3 days after we put it on her. She regrets nothing.
